Arizona Department of Transportation is seeking a Business Analyst to support the IWMS ecosystem, ensuring data integrity, managing user access, and coordinating system updates. The role includes providing high-touch support, training stakeholders, and aiding integrations across state agencies.
Some remote work within Arizona may be available based on performance. Responsibilities include data health monitoring, reporting enhancements, and assisting with upgrade initiatives.
Serves in the supporting role for the state's Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). This role assists in ensuring optimal system performance and data integrity by managing user access, executing system updates, maintaining accurate building inventories, and generating daily, weekly, and monthly facilities management metrics. Acting as a technical liaison, the position delivers high-touch customer support and training to diverse stakeholders across various state agencies, while actively assisting with system integrations and continuous operational enhancements.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Provides support for ADOT's statewide management and oversight of facilities data, including building conditions, inspections assets, space management, projects, and maintenance operations. Monitors system integrations supporting ADOT facilities operations. Provides support to other state agencies utilizing the facilities management system, including facility data, asset tracking, space utilization, and maintenance information. Coordinates cross system integrations and provides multi-agency support.
Motivated and detail-oriented skills in structuring large datasets, maintaining data integrity, and applying secure data-handling practices. Ready to contribute immediately to the team by tracking data health, troubleshooting quality issues, and transforming information into actionable insights that drive business performance. Assist with facilities/buildings and optimize business reports using advanced reporting tools, variety of queries, and basic programming to extract, filter, and aggregate key operational data. Analyze metrics to uncover process insights and present findings to the IWMS system administrator, and ASD leadership.
Assisting with systems upgrade/implementation initiatives, year-end procedures, and projects by executing end-to-end QA protocols and performing analytical data risk assessments. Some travel is required in the state to support the users. Some in state and out of state travel for conferences.

3 years experience in working with business related solutions.
Must have valid drivers license -This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, and the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).
