Job Responsibilities

The Business Analyst is responsible for helping implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program and communicating them clearly. As the vital link between the company’s information technology capabilities and its business objectives, business analysts contribute to the profitability of companies large. License Level:This is a gaming level positionand requires a gaming level license.This positionhas the ability tomake discretionary decisions that impact gaming operations.


Essential Duties / Core Competencies

Develops technical solutions to business problems begins with defining, analyzing and documenting requirements. Manages requirements at the project level to help fulfill business needs. Manages constant change through innovation. Achieves goals through projects that translate customer needs into new products, services, and profits. Deals directly with system providers to maintain systems availability and performance. Gathers and analyzes data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements Meets with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve hotel systems issues. Leads design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing hotel business processes, operations, and information process flow. Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing hotel systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of hotel systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions. Collaborates in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications. Researches software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts. Prepares and delivers reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization. Creates system design proposals. Performs cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions. Ensures compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems. Creates systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers. Coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support. Maintain and perform Support services including all activities and task needed to support Mobile sports betting infrastructure. Provides orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems. Demonstrates consistent regard and dedication to guests, vendors, colleagues and the Company by being engaged, interested and productive Demonstrates a working knowledge of our marketplace; actively and collaboratively assists in building the best practices necessary for the Company’s success Demonstrates an understanding of the impact actions and decisions have on the Company both financially and on guest relations Demonstrates the initiative to present new ideas and perspective to create positive results Exhibits respectful consideration of viewpoints, situations and others Puts the internal and external guests at the forefront of every decision Performs other tasks as assigned.


Work/Educational Experience

Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations. BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field and/or a combination of education and related experience preferred. Two (2) year of experience in an Analyst role or in an IT related field.

Mastery of Excel. Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems and current network hardware, protocols, and standards. Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills. Understanding of systems engineering concepts. The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis. Business case development. Modeling techniques and methods. Leadership skills.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.


Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal, and work with mathematical such as probability and inference. Ability to create, read and analyze spread sheets of statistical data. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.
