Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Business Analyst

Position type : Onshore (Remote)

Duration : 3 Months

Location : USA

As a Business Analyst you will :

In this role, the BA will act as a bridge between the business needs and technical functionalities to develop a data roadmap for integrating clinical data from various provider systems like EMR, EHR, Lab. BA will be responsible for analyzing existing data sources, identifying opportunities for improvement, and creating a strategic plan for data management.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assess current provider systems and understand the structure and content of their clinical databases.
  • Identify various data sources electronic health records, labs, and imaging systems and their data formats.
  • Identify the trends and patterns in clinical data by applying data analysis techniques.
  • Document the data landscape and identify any data gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Derive the relationship between data entities in the clinical databases by using data modelling concepts.
  • Work with stakeholders (providers, IT, clinicians) to define data integration goals and user needs.
  • Gather and document data-related requirements from stakeholders to ensure the roadmap aligns with business needs.
  • Define data quality standards, security protocols, and user access controls.
  • Prioritize tasks and activities based on feasibility, impact, and resource availability.
  • Analyze integrated data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement in patient care, workflow efficiency, or cost reduction.
  • Recommend strategies to leverage the integrated data for analytics and reporting purposes.

The ideal candidate will have :

  • 4-6 years of experience with provider systems or electronic health record (EHR) platforms
  • Strong understanding of healthcare provider clinical workflows, data use cases, standards HL7 &FHIR, and governance principles.
  • Familiarity with data modeling techniques and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for data privacy and security.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range

  • 96,500- $113,500
  • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
