TC Energy Corp. is seeking a Business Analyst to provide administrative and analytical support to Houston facilities management and related teams. This role involves budget analysis, purchase orders, invoicing, and SAP-driven tracking of costs.

The position requires strong MS Office skills and the ability to coordinate with contractors, employees, and vendors while supporting security and access controls at Houston facilities.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School diploma / GED; college degree or recognized certificate preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills; proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Budget analysis and project cost assignment.
  • Purchase order development and invoice coding/approval.
  • Use SAP to track purchase orders, invoices, budgets and costs.
  • Coordinate office and facilities services, security and access controls.
  • Support web site maintenance and ServiceNow requests.
  • Assist project management with opening/closing projects.
  • Coordinate office and parking allocations.
  • Collaborate with field locations and vendors.

The opportunity

Our Facilities Management team is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our presence in Houston, TX. We are seeking an Business Analyst to provide administrative and analytical support to Houston facilities management and associated teams. This will also include support for field locations.

Responsible for various office and location support activities. Identifies, enhances and follows specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the business to which the support is being provided; ensures the correct functioning of facilities, office and business support service. Coordinates outside contractors and in-house services performing a wide range of tasks related to maintenance and upkeep of buildings, office space, office equipment, etc. May coordinate rearrangement of floor plans and office moves, including desks, computers and other office equipment and furniture.

What You'll Do
  • Work will include, general duties such as budget analysis, assignment of project costs, purchase order development, invoice approval and coding, and floor plan mapping updates.
  • Assist Project Management team with opening and closing of projects.
  • Analysis will include extensive use of SAP and will require experience in development spreadsheet documents to support findings.Use SAP to track and monitor purchase orders, invoices, project budgets and costs.
  • Works with employees, contractors, and vendors to provide security, financial, and payment data.
  • Perform badging activities related to access security for employees and contractors; Maintains security system for Houston and assigned facilities.
  • Supports departmental web site maintenance and Service now request applications.
  • Manages work through exercising judgment in approach on more complex and confidential work.
  • Coordinate Office and Parking allocations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of a High School diploma / GED; Successful completion of a college degree or recognized certificate or diploma program is preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Advanced computer skills, including solid working knowledge of MS Office suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail and coordination of competing priorities
  • High degree of initiative and ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to deal with changing situations and deadlines
  • Ability to identify and communicate opportunities to improve existing processes
