Job description

DSA is currently seeking a Secret Cleared Business Analyst to support our customer the Joint Project Manager for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Medical (JPM CBRN Medical) located at Fort Detrick, Maryland.


The Business Analyst will be required to work onsite in a HYBRID Schedule. This schedule will be reviewed and communicated after an assessment of performance. Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Advise and assist Joint Project Manager Medical Countermeasure Systems (JPM MCS) staff to effectively prioritize and balance work at the project and portfolio levels.
  2. Advising leaders in the development, coordination, and execution of long-range strategic plans, as well as effective implementation of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.
  3. Advise and assist PMs in eliminating programmatic redundancies, managing operational and technological gaps, and increasing the efficiency and efficacy of CBRN acquisition programs.
  4. Facilitate coordination and teaming efforts between the CBDP's medical advanced development and tech base programs; project management offices with representatives from the Services, other Government agencies, academia, and industry.

Requirements include:

  1. Executive-level decision-making experience (e.g., Project/Program Manager, Senior Analyst, etc.) within various work environments (i.e., Military, Joint Services, DOD, and Industry).
  2. Experience providing business, analytical, and strategic advisory services and guidance.
  3. Experience supporting national strategies as they pertain to nontraditional agents, highly toxic materials, and other innovative Chemical and Biological (CB) threats.
  4. DAU Program Management Level III certification, or its equivalency, is desired.
  5. Possess an in-depth understanding of the acquisition activities, policies, and procedures of the JPEO-CBD.
  6. Possess expertise in implementation of Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
  7. 5+ years of working experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
  8. The Business Analyst shall possess strong team building, training, facilitating, and mentoring skills.
  9. Knowledge and ability to embrace AI; experience using AI to automate job tasks is highly desired.
  10. Experience supporting the United States Army.
