Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Midwest in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Business Analyst to support and optimize operations. You will design, document, and maintain software, translate business needs into scalable solutions, and lead cross-functional discussions between business and IT teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, 2–3 years of BA experience, and the ability to work legally in the US without sponsorship.

Basic Job Functions:

• Support software systems. Assist in the design, documentation, and maintenance of software
• Support applications that integrate with Microsoft D365 or other software used at NRF.
• Analyze business needs. Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and efficient solutions.
• Optimize system performance. Use in-depth functional knowledge business processes to maximize automation and process effectiveness.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration. Lead discussions between business and IT teams to align system capabilities with business needs.
• Ensure data accuracy and quality. Perform quality assurance, data governance activities, and manage process change requests.
• Manage end-to-end projects. Oversee the scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment of projects from start to finish.
• Provide expert guidance. Offer best practices and solution alternatives in functional design documents. Preferences:

• 2-3 years of experience with software systems.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or performing Business Analyst responsibilities. Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance requirements analysis, documentation, reporting, or process optimization.
• Experience in steel or metal related industry.
