Business Analyst - Lead Business Analyst

Duration - 2+ years

Location - Remote

Responsibilities

1. Lead the assessment of a complex, manual control environment encompassing over 500 controls, evaluating their effectiveness, viability, and alignment with organizational objectives.
2. Develop strategies to automate controls, maximizing efficiency and minimizing risk.
3. Identify opportunities to improve control design and implementation, considering ongoing transformation and new controls.
4. Analyze existing control documentation and processes to identify gaps and weaknesses.
5. Develop detailed recommendations for automation, including technology solutions, implementation plans, and cost-benefit analyses.
6. Collaborate with technology and business teams to implement automation solutions.
7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of automated controls.
8. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
9. Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices for risk management and control design.
10. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clear documentation for audit purposes.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in risk management or related fields, with significant experience in assessing and improving control environments.
2. Proven experience leading complex control assessment projects.
3. Deep understanding of control design principles and automation opportunities.
4. Strong experience in fraud and claims environments (highly preferred).
5. Experience with automation technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
