Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Business Analyst to join our NY Shared Services team. This role focuses on gathering requirements, supporting system enhancements, and translating business needs into Salesforce-driven solutions that improve operations and help achieve program goals.

You will partner with operations and technology teams, support UAT and testing, and help drive process improvements across New York Medicaid Choice and related programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience translating business needs into functional requirements, workflows, or business processes.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, and other business software applications.

Maximus is hiring a Business Analyst to join our NY Shared Services team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and determine business requirements and define processes, including clarification on any requirement discrepancies.
• Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
• Extract, tabulate, and analyze data to support program activity and assist management with decision making.
• Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to new processes, functionalities, and/or proposed solutions.
• Process all Production Support Requests by receiving defect reports and cross-referencing the defect with the business requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• '- Bachelors degree in related field.
• - 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
• - Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree '- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, operations analysis, or system implementation.
• - Experience translating business needs into functional requirements, workflows, or business processes.
• - Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, and other business software applications.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in healthcare, Medicaid, managed care, or HIPAA-regulated environments.
• Experience supporting Salesforce, Salesforce Service Cloud, or Salesforce Field Service.
• Experience with software implementations, system integrations, or enterprise applications.
• Salesforce, CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or related certification.

Minimum Salary $75,000 Maximum Salary $91,000
