Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a motivated, entry-level Analyst in Columbus, OH to join the finance and data analytics team starting January 2027. The role focuses on data analytics, vendor management, procurement, process mapping, and training guide development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will work on finance process management, automation, and optimization, with opportunities to engage senior leadership and contribute to reporting, documentation, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with O365 products to drive data analytics, reporting, and financial results.
• Experience creating process maps.
• Advanced MS PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Word skills.
• Ability to identify, analyze and create processes or recommend changes to processes.
• Ability to schedule and negotiate with end users to achieve desired results through stakeholder engagement and project management.
• Experience communicating with senior and executive management.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience analyzing datasets.
• Ability to collect, form, analyze, and disseminate information with accuracy through hyper organizational skills and attention to detail to improve the effectiveness of the department and organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Use statistical methods to interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reporting.
• Use data to create models that depict trends in portfolio financials and operational effectiveness.
• Identify and recommend new ways to meet the BMO financial processes, problem resolution, and mitigate risk.
• Facilitate meetings to review data findings and metrics.
• Develop and update documentation to support new / changes to procedures.
• Develop, generate, maintain, and monitor reports and files.
• Consolidate and create monthly decks providing financial status.
• Collaborate with the finance team regarding infrastructure financials.
• Maintains, monitors, updates assigned business process and/or systems.
• Research complex problems and acts independently to resolve.
• Analyzes existing business process and or systems and determines technical or procedural improvements and implements changes.
• Develops and provides documentation for users and training purposes.
• Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems supported.
• Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements.
• Develops and generates specialized and ad hoc reports.
• Analyzes reports and makes recommendations for improvements in processes and /or systems.
