Job summary

i-Link Solutions is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support financial analysis and data review for healthcare clients in New York. The role involves updating dashboards, examining hospital financial documents, and preparing notes from provider calls.

Ideal candidates will have CPA and ACCA certifications, a Master’s degree in Data Analytics, and strong communication skills for coordinating with hospitals and providers in the state of New York.

Qualifications

• 18+ months of experience in finance conducting fiscal analysis.
• 18+ months of experience reviewing hospital financial documents.
• 18+ months of data analysis with large datasets.
• 18+ months of experience in communications via calls/emails.
• 6+ months of documentation during provider Webex calls.

Responsibilities

• Analyze weekly cash flows and monthly performance reports.
• Assess funding needs and determine appropriate funding amounts.

Description

Ad-hoc assignments.

• Updates the internal dashboard weekly.
• Reviews data for MediSys health system (Jamaica and Flushing hospitals), Richmond University Medical Center, St. John's Riverside Hospital, St. John's Episcopal Hospital.
• Analyzes Weekly Cash Flows and Monthly Performance Reports.
• Assesses need requests to determine to appropriate amount of funding, if needed, by each of the assigned hospitals.
• Prepares questions for monthly provider calls in order to fully understand each aspect of their current financial situation.
• Prepares notes from provider monthly calls.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 18 Months of Experience in finance conducting fiscal analysis.
• 18 Months of Experience in working with hospitals, reviewing their financial documents.
• 18 Months of Experience in data analysis, working with large sets of data on a routine basis.
• 18 Months of Experience in communications, conducting calls/drafting emails to various outside parties.
• 6 Months of Experience in documentation, during webex calls with providers.
• CPA Certification.
• ACCA - Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Certification.
• Master's Degree in Data Analysis or Business Analytics.
