Wissen Technology seeks a seasoned Business Analyst (AVP/VP) who will work onsite three days a week, reporting to the Delivery Lead in Marketing IT. You will drive data-centric initiatives across Java-based platforms used in digital marketing and content management.

The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years of experience, strong leadership, and hands-on data expertise to define solutions, design data models, and deliver robust production support.

Role: Business Analyst

Title: AVP/VP

Mode of Work: 3 days/week onsite required

Required Experience: 7 - 10 years

The candidate will be responsible for working across a suite of applications, with hands-on involvement in application design, development, and production support for Java-based application platforms in the fields of digital marketing and content management. The position will report to a Delivery Lead within the Marketing IT team.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership qualities and be proactive in taking ownership of initiatives from conception through successful delivery. What you will do

• Partner with various tech and business stakeholders to review data needs and define solutions with strategic data objectives
• Translate data requirements into functional specifications and user stories
• Analyze system workflows, integrations, and data models across Marketing platforms
• Perform data enquiry, data analysis, and data sourcing in relational database environments
• Develop a thorough understanding of technology systems, data stores, data pipelines, job streams, and downstream data consumers
• Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate data mapping, data lineage creation, and data profiling, improving turnaround time and overall data quality
• Respond to queries from business analysts and developers regarding data access, query design, and performance optimization
• Troubleshoot data issues and collaborate with data providers and upstream teams to identify root causes and drive resolution; provide Level 3 (L3) production support as needed
• Modify data sourcing mechanisms and related programs to implement changes driven by evolving business requirements
