Job summary

Black Pen Recruitment is seeking a senior Business Analyst to join the development team and collaborate with a major client’s IT group. The role supports a hybrid work model in Valletta, Malta, and requires strong English fluency alongside extensive IT experience.

The successful candidate will conduct requirements gathering, model business processes, and work with UX/UI designers to translate needs into wireframes and prototypes, while aligning with Agile practices and ICT security standards.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, plus at least 10 years IT experience.
• Experience in BPMN/UML.
• Experience in gathering, validating, and prioritizing business requirements.
• Experience in creating detailed business process models.
• Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers to develop wireframes and prototypes.
• Experience in ICT security procedures.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in Business process modelling.
• Experience designing mockups of user interfaces for web apps.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Requirements gathering (organize meetings/workshops/interviews with Business Key Users, Business Experts, and other Stakeholders).
• Business model analysis and Process analysis.
• Business processes modelling.
• SWOT analysis and Gap analysis.
• Quality assurance and Troubleshooting.

Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.

Role Overview

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will work remotely within EU. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team.
