Job summary

Coforge is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst in Alpharetta, GA to join our finance transformation initiatives. The role requires deep experience in GL, AP, AR, FP&A, budgeting and forecasting, as well as strong collaboration with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, and Technology.

Candidates should demonstrate expertise in documenting as-is processes, requirements management, and hands-on work with ERP platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word and PowerPoint is essential.

Job Description

• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting functions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Management, Cash Flow, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Budgeting, Forecasting, Month-End Close, and Financial Reporting.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit requirements and document current-state (As-Is) processes, business rules, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
• Strong understanding of AI and emerging technologies, with experience supporting solution implementation, organizational change management, and business value realization.
• Demonstrated expertise in business analysis, process mapping, requirements management, and process documentation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage Finance, Accounting, Technology, and Leadership stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word and PowerPoint.
• Should be flexible to perform additional duties of QA to ensure quality and compliance
• Flexible to collaborate with Globally located project as well as client teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working as a BA on projects involving ERP and financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Ariba, Coupa, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting finance transformation, process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience identifying, assessing, and documenting opportunities for RPA, AI, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Project management or project delivery experience within Finance and Accounting organizations.
