While hands-on programming or technical experience is not necessarily required, successful candidates should possess a strong understanding of technical concepts, technical documentation standards, and mobile application architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Requirement Gathering and Refinement
Facilitate sessions to translate functional requirements and designs into technical requirements.
Support Mobile Tech Leads in refining technical requirements through proof of concept exercises, collaboration with key stakeholders/SMEs, and navigating the architecture review process.
Identify opportunities to create efficiencies/scalability when defining technical approaches.
Ensure future initiatives/plans are factored into architecture decisions.
Ensure the broader implications of project-specific decisions are understood and factored into technical approaches in order to avoid conflicts/issues throughout the entire mobile platform.
Work with mobile Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Quality Assurance Leads to map out the most efficient way to group and sequence scope in the development cycle.
Work with iOS, Android, and API Technical Leads to maintain a prioritized backlog of technical hygiene + tech debt remediation work.
Conduct hands-on functional testing and validation of business requirements in conjunction with Quality Assurance teams.
  2. Mobile and Competitor Analysis
Understand when app SDKs need to be updated and the implications of new versions.
Annual IOS/Android updates - what it means for us + if there are new capabilities that we should look at.
New solutions to improve the client experience, platform stability, and team process.
  3. Collaboration and Communication
Keep a pulse on firmwide technical initiatives/priorities to identify and absorb applicable mobile team work.
Build and maintain relationships with SMEs outside of the mobile team; specifically Technical and Product SMEs supporting back-end, middleware, app framework, and web platform teams.
Produce high-level functional + technical documentation to help teams in the future with troubleshooting issues and/or further enhancing experiences.
SME for other POs on technical implementations; specifically, analytics, accessibility, and pilot/feature flags.
Produce FAQs/documentation for client support teams.

Requirements

  1. 5-10 years of experience working on digital platforms, with strong knowledge of client-facing mobile, web, and API-based digital experiences.

  4. Experience managing the definition and execution of projects (conceptualization, requirements, design, development, testing, and implementation).
  5. Ability to work with cross-functional teams to effectively manage business objectives.
  6. Experience with Agile development methodologies preferred.
  7. Self-motivated, detailed-oriented, team player, and organized.
  8. Efficient at managing multiple projects and initiatives concurrently under deadline constraints.
