Job Description:

The role is a new, critical hire for TCSi. They will play a pivotal role as a visionary, strategist, and a member of the strategic corporate development team. They will work in close partnership with the leadership team to advise the CMO practice on optimizing marketing through technology. They will act as a bridge between the CIO and CMO disciplines, standing as the CMOs tech advisor.


This position is for the marketing advisory practice at TCSi, targeting a new market and customer segment. The role involves establishing TCSi's perspective on the current and future landscape of marketing technology, both internally and externally, by evangelizing and advising clients and prospects.


The advisor will serve as our highest-level technology consultant to growth and marketing clients, requiring a visionary understanding of solutions within complex systems and industries. Significant practitioner capability, soft skills, and gravitas are essential for working with senior clients.


The role includes setting product, offering, and partner strategies based on our strategic POV on marketing technology. Developing alliances with key technology vendors will be a key differentiator.


As a senior technologist, you will also develop new business and strategic relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to growth officers. You will serve as an evangelist for TCS's POV on marketing technology and strategy, building awareness among industry leaders.


Additionally, you will manage the capabilities roadmap for the marketing advisory group, contribute to organizational design, and plan go-to-market propositions. Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will partner with the head of Strategy and Operations and oversee product, service, and business analysis teams. As the team grows, you will hire and oversee marketing technology leads within various industry verticals.


Key responsibilities:
  1. Provide C-Suite advisory services on technology, partnerships, and organization design.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with business objectives and industry trends.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key partners, influencers, and stakeholders.
  4. Serve as a thought leader and spokesperson through interviews, panels, and public engagements.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on industry and account pursuits.
  6. Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
  7. Stay informed on regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to marketing technology globally.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field. Master’s degree (preferred): MBA or master's in technology management.

Work Experience: 15+ years in IT and technology roles, with 5-10+ years in senior leadership. Proven experience managing technology across multiple countries and regions.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the company's industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing).
