Job summary

Matson Logistics, Inc. seeks an AI Specialist to design and deploy business-side AI solutions across its four lines of business, partnering with IT and AI acceleration teams.

The role focuses on hands-on solution design, adoption, and ongoing optimization, with governance and security considerations guiding every project. You will work closely with business teams to identify AI opportunities, build prototypes, and ensure successful deployment while maintaining enterprise standards for security

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business operations, strategy, consulting, project coordination, technology, product support, or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Power Automate, or similar low-code AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of business processes and operational workflows with AI, automation, and process improvement opportunities.
• Ability to prototype, build solutions, and work with APIs and enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini) and multi-agent orchestration.
• Comfortable working without a fixed playbook and prioritizing amid changing tech.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
• Experience on cross-functional projects and technology rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy business-side AI solutions across multiple lines of business using Microsoft tools (Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Monitor deployed solutions, fix workflows and agents, and escalate issues to IT.
• Provide governance board updates on status, issues, and business value.
