Job summary

Markon is seeking a Business Administrator to support the Naval Nuclear Laboratory’s Facility Design organization at the Knolls site in New York. The role involves working within a project team to assist project engineers with administration, organization, and maintenance of critical project documentation.

The position requires regular onsite work at Knolls with up to 20% remote time and an active DOE L clearance.

Qualifications

• Active DOE L clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience in project administration within construction/defense environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support construction projects at the Knolls site within a project team.
• Assist project engineers with administration and maintenance of project documentation.
• Maintain updated project submittal logs.
• Route project submittals to stakeholders for review and approval.
• Maintain current SharePoint pages for projects.
• Maintain updated project drawings and specifications after changes.

Markon is seeking a Business Administrator to support the Naval Nuclear Laboratory’s Facility Design organization at the Knolls site. This position will work within a project team environment supporting various construction projects and assisting project engineers with the administration, organization, and maintenance of critical project documentation.

NOTE: This position requires regular onsite work at the Knolls location and may be performed remotely up to 20% of the time. An active DOE L clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Work within a project team environment to support various construction projects at the Knolls site.
• Assist project engineers with the administration and maintenance of project documentation.
• Maintain updated project submittal logs.
• Route project submittals to appropriate stakeholders for review and approval.
• Maintain current and accurate project SharePoint pages.
• Maintain updated project record drawings resulting from project changes.
• Maintain updated project specifications resulting from project changes.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must have an active DOE L clearance to be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 5years of relevant experience; OR
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 3years of relevant experience.

Desired:

• Experience working within project teams in the construction industry.

Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $127,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
