Job summary

Markon is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to support an Intelligence Community customer in Virginia. You will coordinate, plan, and prioritize projects ranging from $50K to $20M+, reporting to government representatives and overseeing the Site O&M contractor.

The role requires active TS/SCI with CI poly, AutoCAD experience, and a bachelor’s degree in facilities engineering or architecture with 7+ years of IC/DOD or commercial sector experience.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing the project management expertise for the coordination, planning, and work prioritization of assigned projects ranging in value from $50K to $20M or more.

• Act as a liaison, reporting to and coordinating with U.S. government representatives at multiple levels
• Oversee the Site O&M support contractor for resource allocation and document control
• Ensuring that the government receives valid cost proposals
• Developing and reporting metrics to support the paradigm of continuous improvement
• Project initiation, assisting in completion of and reviewing requirements documents to ensure that the customer requirements for power, space and cooling are met
• Demonstrated project management skills associated with managing performance, budget, schedules, and adhering to control gates
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners
• Knowledge of facility operations & maintenance activities and procedures
• Ability to manage multiple and competing resources
• Develop and submit multiple project development documents used for planning and execution of the project
• Prepare and monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets
• Provide technical guidance and assistance on contracting and construction related issues
• Prepare and edit/update project status briefings and support leadership briefings
• Support and occasionally provide site tours for distinguished and other identified visitors
• Facilitate project coordination between multiple government stakeholders

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with a CI poly
• AutoCAD experience
• Basic knowledge of the government organization and method of conducting business
• Bachelor's degree in facilities related engineering or architectural field with 7+ years of relevant experience in IC, DOD or Commercial Sector in the last 12 years
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local building and safety codes
• Ability to travel local

Preferred:

• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Experience with MS Project or equivalent scheduling tool
• Experience with schedule analysis
• Experience with space planning and development of test fits
• Knowledge of systems furniture and standard office furnishings
• Understanding of ADA/ABA guidelines
• Experience creating Scopes of Work (SOW) for RFP/RFI/IFB packages to include Government Cost Estimates (GCE)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Archibus, and/or SAP

Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
