Southern Careers Institute seeks an Instructor to positively impact students’ lives by sharing knowledge and industry experience. You will teach business and administration courses, develop lesson plans, and deliver engaging instruction aligned with SCI’s curriculum.

You will collaborate with educators to create an optimized learning environment, assess student progress, and foster communication and critical thinking across diverse cohorts on Texas campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for faculty teaching business and business administration courses; if degree is not in the assigned field, at least two years of related work experience or competency evidence is required.
• Experience in business operations, accounting and office procedures is essential.
• Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, and familiarity with AP/AR processes is expected.

• Demonstrates and applies thorough knowledge of the teaching field and discipline.
• Plans and organizes instruction to maximize student learning; maintains teaching excellence.
• Modifies instructional methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
• Prepare lesson plans and teach courses per approved curriculum; encourage communication and higher-order thinking.
