The Town of Chapel Hill is seeking a vehicle cleaning and maintenance worker to service department vehicles, fuel daily, and maintain cleanliness inside and out. The role includes inventory management, reporting damage, and performing light maintenance in a shop environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, six months of related experience, and the ability to obtain a NC CDL with P endorsement and a valid NC driver’s license. Benefits are provided.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in a related field required.
• NC DOT Medical card, Class B CDL with P (Passenger) Endorsement, and NC driver's license.

Mansioni

• Fuels buses, cars and vans daily; maintain related records and check fluid levels.
• Clean interiors and exteriors of vehicles including windows, upholstery and wheels.
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory and report replenishment needs.
• Inspect vehicles for damage or mechanical issues and report to supervisor.
• Perform light building maintenance as needed.
