Goodyear is hiring for a bus tire technician to perform tire maintenance and safety inspections at customer locations. The role supports the Goodyear Tire Optimization Process to improve operational efficiency for clients and travelers.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• Previous commercial tire experience.
• Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Work performed at customer location designated tire shop, alongside customers' mechanics, focusing on tire reliability and safety.
• Maintain customer tire inventory from cradle to grave using inventory management practices.
• Monitor tire maintenance through periodic inspections using specialized software and equipment.
• Perform dynamic tire balancing, tire and wheel assembly changes, regrooving and inflation maintenance.
