Goodyear is hiring a bus tire technician to perform on-site tire maintenance at customer locations. The role focuses on safety, tire reliability, and accurate documentation of all work performed.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED (preferred) and be capable of manual tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods. Training is provided; opportunities for growth exist within a global leader in mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• Previous commercial tire experience preferred.
• Ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods (lifting, bending, squatting).
• Commitment to following safety procedures and working safely.

Responsibilities

• Work at customer location designated tire shop alongside customer mechanics, ensuring tires are reliable and safe.
• Document work performed with assigned administrators and customer staff.
• Maintain customer tire inventory from cradle to grave using inventory practices.
• Monitor tire maintenance using inspections and specialized software/devices.
• Perform dynamic tire balancing, wheel changes, regrooving, inflation maintenance with tire-related machinery.
• Maintain shop safety and cleanliness.
