The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a bus tire technician in Tucson to help keep city buses safe and reliable. This safety-sensitive role focuses on DOT-compliant tires, documenting work, and maintaining tire inventory while using industry-standard equipment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• Previous commercial tire experience encouraged.
• Ability to perform manual tasks including lifting.
• Commitment to safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
• Strong oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Work at customer location tire shop with focus on safe, reliable tires.
• Document work performed with the customer staff and administrators.
• Maintain customer tire inventory from cradle to grave.
• Monitor tire maintenance using specialized software and devices.
• Maintain and repair tires according to industry standards.
• Perform tire balancing, changes, regrooving, and inflation maintenance.
• Keep shop clean and safe through proper housing practices.
