Transdev in Arcadia, California is seeking a C-Level Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines across vehicles and equipment. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and longevity of our fleet while supporting senior mechanics and performing preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• DOT drug testing and physical may apply.

Responsabilités

• Perform repairs and replacements on diesel engines.
• Assist higher-level mechanics with advanced tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.
• Lead diagnostic tests to identify issues and plan repair strategies.

Transdev in Arcadia, California is seeking a C-Level Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.

Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:

• $43.74/hr. to start

• up to $48.11/hr. (Top Pay with ASE's)

Benefits include:

• Vacation : up to 14 days per year

• Paid Sick Leave: 8 hrs monthly full-time employees/ 5 hrs monthly part-time employees; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays.

• Company paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks

• Sick days: 5 days

• Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and replacements on diesel engines, ensuring optimal functionality.

• Assist A-Level and B-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.

• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize diesel engine performance.

• Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for diesel engines.

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on diesel engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.

• Other duties as required.

Qualifications :

• 2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.

• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided

• Mechanic’s Tool Set

• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.

• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
