Job summary

The Town of Chapel Hill is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform cleaning and maintenance of department vehicles. You will fuel, wash, and document service, inspect for damage, and report issues to supervision; assist with light building repairs as needed, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, six months of related experience, and NC DOT Medical card with Class B CDL-P endorsement or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• Six months of related experience.
• NC DOT Medical card and Class B CDL with P endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Subject to Town's Safe Driving and Accident Policy and random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Fuels buses, cars and vans daily; maintains related records.
• Performs interior and exterior vehicle cleaning; washes and cleans vehicles.
• Inspects vehicles for damage and reports issues to supervisor.
• Maintains cleaning supply inventory and reports replenishment needs.
