Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking an Automotive Services Technician (Seat Repair) to support line mechanics by repairing seats, upholstery, foam, and related components on LCPS vehicles.

Responsibilities include inspecting seat cushions and belts, recording labor in fleet maintenance software, keeping the shop clean, and assisting with vehicle service as needed. A High School Diploma or GED and CDL B with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements within six months are required.

Job Overview

The Automotive Services Technician (Seat Repair) is responsible for providing service to the line mechanic by providing seat repair, support, and tire repair as required. Automotive Service Technicians may be required to work in any of the other Automotive Service areas.

  • Repairs or replaces upholstery and foam in school buses and other LCPS vehicles
