Job summary

Transdev in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Driver/Operator to provide safe and reliable bus service. You will follow routes, assist passengers, and ensure timely disembarkation with top-tier customer service. This full-time role is based on site at 2225 W Lower Buckeye Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85009.

Starting pay is $22.80 per hour with progression to $36.07 over 4 years under the collective bargaining agreement. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, health coverage after 90 days, life insurance, 401k, and

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Preferred: Valid CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements, or CDL permit with ability to obtain endorsements.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).

Responsibilities

• Safety-focused operations: follow routes and schedules with strict safety protocols.
• Passenger care: assist passengers, ensure smooth boarding and comfortable rides.
• Vehicle inspections: perform pre-trip and post-trip checks and report maintenance needs.
• Adherence to protocols: enforce seat belts, emergency readiness, regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required
