Putnam County Schools in Winfield, WV is seeking a School Bus Operator (S114) for a 200‑day schedule. You will operate school buses and other transportation vehicles, ensuring safety and on‑time performance in accordance with the district policy.

Job Description: The School Bus Operator is responsible for operating school buses and other school transportation vehicles as provided by the West Virginia Board of Education.

Qualifications:

• Holds a high school diploma or GED or TASC
• Holds a Commercial Driver’s License, Class B, Passenger and AirbrakeEndorsements
• Passes the required physical examination
• Has three years of experience as a licensed driver
• Passes the Department of Motor Vehicles Driving Record Check
• Passes the Drug/Alcohol Screening
• Completes 40 hours of required classroom training and 20 hours of behind the wheel training.

Daily Schedule: Pre-Trip – 15 Minutes prior to pullout time (AM only)

Currently - Pull Out Time (AM) – 6:45 am - 8:00 am

Pull Out Time (PM) – 2:30 pm - 4:05 pm

Post-Trip – 15 Minutes
