Payscale: Payscale D with years of expierence (minimum $31,220-maximum $43,700) plus any college hours plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.

SUMMARY A vacancy exists for a bus operator for the Transportation Department for bus #267 working approximately 5:30 am - 9:00 am & approximately 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm (subject to change).
This bus run consists of transporting students to and from Musselman Middle, Musselman High, Bunker Hill Elementary. Please contact Patrick Ashton or Josh Sowers for specific details.
The route is subject to change with additions and/or adjustments as necessary. This bus will serve as a transfer bus as needed.
Qualifications are included on the attached job description. Employees, regular and substitutes, who have never held the classification of bus operator, will be required to meet all county and state mandated bus operators' regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), pursuant to WV Code §18A-2-5; Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV code §18-5-15c; Meet the definition of “Qualifications” in WV Code §18A-4-8b; demonstrated competency, pursuant to WV Code §18A-4-8e (state approved competency test) as required. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to staff, parents, students and administrators.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detail but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
