Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum three years as a Bus Operator with at least one year in relief training or supervisory roles.
• CDL with passenger endorsement required; good driving record per METRO standards.

Responsibilities

• Conducts classroom training in Bus operations, Defensive Driving, Passenger Relations, CDL training and LMS.
• Observes and evaluates operator-trainee performance in classroom and on bus.
• Maintains training and safety records for all training delivered.
• Recommends progress or retraining based on evaluations.
• Trains staff on Authority policies and DPS/FTA regulatory requirements.
