The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County in Houston is seeking a qualified individual to oversee and manage Bus Operations. The candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, provide exceptional customer service, and manage day-to-day activities related to bus services. A high school diploma is required, along with three years of experience in transportation and one year in a supervisory role. Candidates must have basic computer skills and commitment to customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years’ experience with union or collective bargaining rules.
• Familiarity with transportation operations including public interaction.
• One (1) year supervisory experience preferably in transportation.

Responsabilités

• Oversees Bus Operators and ensures compliance with operational procedures.
• Manages daily activities associated with fixed route bus services.
• Responds to customer service interruptions and investigates complaints.
• Coordinates emergency responses and service recovery strategies.
