Job summary

The Road Supervisor/Dispatch Supervisor for Buses at North County Transit District (NCTD) oversees daily operations of the BREEZE service, coordinating field and office activities through CAD, radio, and phone systems to ensure safe, reliable, on-time service.

You will supervise bus operators, adjust schedules for detours or incidents, document disruptions, and coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and other emergency agencies during incidents or disasters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in bus operation, fleet dispatching, or closely related fields.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license with CDL B and endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch all bus operator assignments for revenue service.
• Monitor and supervise operators' work, drive, and schedule adherence.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, coordinating with police, fire, and EMS as needed.
