Job summary

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) in Washington, DC, is hiring a Management Associate in the Office of Performance, Benchmarking and Customer Research to drive data‑driven insights that improve bus operations.

You will support the bus operations team by creating regular reports, maintaining dashboards, and performing analyses to inform service improvements, with collaboration across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or General Studies.
• Not more than two years of related work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Create reports on performance metrics for bus operations.
• Maintain dashboards to provide information for service improvement.
• Perform analyses to support operational decisions across departments.
• Confer with other departments and present findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely data collection and reporting.
• Prepare documentation and summaries for management presentations.
• Assist with policy development and program evaluation.
