Job summary

Smart & Final in Clinton Charter Township, MI is seeking a Bus Maintenance Mechanic to perform full automotive and mechanical repair on gasoline and diesel buses and related vehicles, including shop equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with courses in general shop and automotive repair
• Reasonable experience in repairing and rebuilding a variety of gasoline and/or diesel fuel powered vehicles or completion of an approved four-year apprenticeship in automotive repair or its equivalent
• Physical strength and agility
• Physically and mentally capable of performing all the duties of the classification

Responsibilities

• Provide the tools necessary to perform the work assigned
• Must be able to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's license (CDL) with proper endorsements
