Job summary

Via is seeking a hands-on Utility Worker to maintain the safety, efficiency, and functionality of our facilities, vehicles, and grounds at our Fort Walton Beach location. On-the-job training is provided and no transit experience is required.

This role supports operations with a range of maintenance tasks and will involve working evenings and weekends as needed. You will help keep buses and support vehicles clean and ready, perform custodial and minor repair duties, and assist the operations team

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Able to pass pre-employment physical.
• Minimum age 21.
• No felonies or major driving violations.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep, sanitize, and detail buses and support vehicles.
• General building and grounds upkeep, including custodial tasks and minor repairs.
• Support the operations team with miscellaneous responsibilities, including moving equipment, organizing workspaces, and assisting with special projects.
• Additional duties will be discussed during the interview and may evolve based on operational needs.
