Position: Bus Driver(Regular Route Driver)

Location: Newton Community School District

Start Date: September 2026

Bus Driver Salary Schedule for 2026-2027

• Hourly Route Base Pay: $33.29
• Routes are 3 hours per day

• School Day Routes (Monday - Friday)
• Additional hours available year round for activity trips and extracurricular activities ($21.12/hr).
• Bus Drivers receive IPERS retirement benefits
• CDL training provided

Selection Procedure

Applicants with completed applications will be considered during the screening process.

Hired applicants must be able to pass both the DCI background check and meet the pre-employment requirements.
