Job summary

CommWell Health in rural North Carolina seeks a dedicated Mobile Bus Driver to support patient access to care. You will operate and transport the Mobile Bus, ensuring safety and adherence to regulations, and help with setup, fueling, inspections, and maintenance.

You’ll coordinate with event sites, communicate scheduling needs to leadership, monitor conditions, and complete logs and documentation to ensure smooth mobile service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Valid NC CDL license required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • DOT Medical Certificate required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and transport the Mobile Bus to designated locations while complying with traffic laws.
  • Set up, maintain, and secure the Mobile Bus, including inspections, fueling, and basic maintenance.
  • Coordinate with site personnel to ensure safe parking at events.
  • Communicate scheduling or maintenance needs to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Monitor vehicle and weather conditions and report safety concerns or mechanical issues.
  • Complete required logs, reports and documentation for safe delivery of mobile services.

  • Set up, maintain, and secure the Mobile Bus, including vehicle inspections, fueling, supply restocking, and basic maintenance.
  • Coordinate with site personnel to ensure safe parking at events.
  • Communicate in a timely manner to leadership regarding scheduling or maintenance needs.
  • Monitor vehicle and weather conditions, report safety concerns or mechanical issues, and assist in determining operational readiness.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and documentation while supporting the safe and efficient delivery of mobile services and performing other duties as assigned.
