Easter Seals in Atlanta, GA is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to transport children, parents and staff on daily routes, field trips and activities, following established schedules.

The role emphasizes safety, punctuality and compliance with transportation policies; CDL is required. You will perform vehicle checks, maintain records and participate in required trainings to support the center's mission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State of Georgia CDL with P&S endorsements.
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must pass drug test.
• Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.
• Satisfactory MVR history on record.

Responsibilities

• Transports children, parents, and staff safely to and from childcare centers, field trips and designated locations.
• Performs daily vehicle maintenance and safety checks as per ESNG plan.
• Reports accidents to ESNG supervisors and authorities per policy.
• Provides first aid and emergency assistance when needed.
• Completes daily operational data sheets and submits as required.
• Attends meetings with center manager and field operations manager to review policies.
• Promotes Easter Seals values and mission.
• Completes a weekly report for the Center Manager and Field Operations Manager.
• Maintains all necessary documents and submits invoices as required.
• Follows regulations for proper school bus operations.
• Participates in mandatory Easter Seals trainings and required hours for DHR/OSR/Georgia Pre-K/Head Start.

Position Summary - Bus Driver (Part-Time)(Hours - 6:30A - 8:30A & 2:00P - 4:00P)Under the direction of the Center Manager, the bus driver will be responsible for transporting assigned children, parents and staff on routes on a daily basis according to specific time schedules.
