Driver / Operator

Transdev in Kennesaw, GA is hiring a Driver/Operator to facilitate classroom and behind‑the‑wheel training to drivers. We are seeking customer service‑oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

CBA Position
  • Pay $22.50 per hour under the Union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Starting pay $22.50 per hour with progression to $24.90 per hour.

  • Paid Sick Leave: 8 hours monthly for full‑time employees, 5 hours monthly for part‑time employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide classroom and behind‑the‑wheel training to new drivers.
  • Maintain required training documentation and completion for compliance with state certification, company policies, and district, state & federal requirements.
  • Perform additional safety program responsibilities such as accident investigation, forms compliance, and safety meetings.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A or B CDL with Passenger Endorsements for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV).
  • 1 to 3 years transportation & safety experience.
  • Knowledge of federal and state safety rules and regulations.
  • Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
  • Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
