The University of Delaware is seeking a Casual Wage Bus Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for the campus community and the public. Responsibilities include operating transit vehicles on campus routes, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and assisting riders with directions and information.
Applicants must hold a valid CDL with passenger and air-brake endorsements, have a clean driving record, and meet DOT standards.

About the department / center: Transportation ServicesDepartment, responsible for transit, motor pool, and vehiclemaintenance.
Under limited supervision provides transportation services tothe University Community and/or the public, performing duties whichrequire independent judgment in the application of procedures andmethods related to University Transit operations. OperatesUniversity Transit vehicles in a safe, reliable, and professionalmanner; conducts pre-trip/post-trip inspections in accordance withFederal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; provides housekeepingactions and other related assignments.
