This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working with people and are interested in building a long-term career in public transit. Starting training wage is $20.59 per hour, with progressive increases up to $30.28 per hour.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 21 years of age as required by state law.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL with passenger endorsement (paid training provided).
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening, BMV license check, and criminal background check.
• Good driving record and fluency in English.

Aufgaben

• Safely operate transit buses along designated routes and schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers, including assisting with boarding and answering questions.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly.
• Work varying days and hours, including weekends, as required by the schedule.
