Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities is seeking a dependable Bus Driver to safely transport residents to outings, appointments, shopping trips, and community events. You will help maintain residents' independence and well-being by delivering timely, friendly transportation and courteous service.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year of passenger or commercial driving experience, a valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement (or obtain within six months), and CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year passenger or commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class B with passenger endorsement (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to outings, appointments, shopping, and events.
• Provide friendly, timely, and safe transportation to support resident independence.
• Maintain courteous, reliable service for residents during trips.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Bus Driver position.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to/from scheduled outings, appointments, shopping trips, and community events. This role is crucial in supporting the independence and well-being of our residents by providing friendly, timely, and safe transportation services.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum of one year passenger or commercial driving experience
• Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B or higher) with passenger endorsement (or obtain within six months of employment)
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred

Pay Range

$18.54 - $23.13 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
