Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities in Florida is hiring a Bus Driver to safely transport residents to outings, appointments, shopping trips, and events. You play a key role in promoting independence and well-being by delivering friendly, timely service.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, at least one year of driving experience, and a valid CDL Class B with passenger endorsement (or obtain within six months). CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year passenger or commercial driving experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B or higher) with passenger endorsement (or obtain within six months of employment).
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to/from scheduled outings, appointments, shopping trips, and community events.
• Provide friendly, timely, and safe transportation to support residents’ independence and well-being.

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Bus Driver position.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to/from scheduled outings, appointments, shopping trips, and community events. This role is crucial in supporting the independence and well-being of our residents by providing friendly, timely, and safe transportation services.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum of one year passenger or commercial driving experience
• Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B or higher) with passenger endorsement (or obtain within six months of employment)
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred

Pay Range

$17.51 - $21.01 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
