Qualifications

A valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is recommended but not required. The company will train employees to obtain a Class B CDL with School Bus and Passenger endorsements. The company will pay for the pre‑employment physical, drug test, initial background check, School Bus Driver class, temporary CDL, and initial CDL license. Employees will receive an hourly rate of $13.00 during training.

Responsibilities

Drive school buses, escort students to school, and drive them back to the garage at the end of the afternoon run when needed.

Compensation

Substitute Bus Driver wage: $20.00 per hour.

Regular drivers start at over $23.00 per hour.
