City of Alpharetta is seeking a part-time Transportation Operator to support the Adult Activity Center Programs. You will drive vans/buses, assist passengers, and manage trip responsibilities with a focus on safety and reliability.
Roles may require nights, weekends, and overnight hours as needed. A CDL endorsement and CPR/First Aid certifications are expected, with DMV competency demonstrated through a clean driving record.
Under general direction of the Recreation Supervisor II or their designee, performs a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving a van, bus or other vehicle and coordinates transportation plans in support of the City of Alpharetta Adult Activity Center Programs. This position may have nights, weekends, and some over nights as needed.
This is a Temp PT position.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. The employee is required to sit for an extended period of time while driving. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally life and/or move up to 25 pounds.
