• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities immediately.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and school district policies while driving.
• Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus safely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement. Black River will provide training for qualified applicants.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Previous experience driving a bus or working with children is preferred but not required.
