Eugene School District 4J is seeking a part-time Bus Driver to transport students on district routes and field trips. This position requires a valid Oregon CDL with endorsements and an ODE Bus Driver Certificate, with fingerprint clearance upon offer.
The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and effective student management. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, on-time route execution, and safe student boarding, with professional interaction with staff and families.
This is a part-time , minimum .5 FTE/4 hours per day (split shift) position working on the CL-STU (183 days per full school year) schedule, Mon-Fri. This is a pool posting for the 2026/27 school year.
Drives District buses to safely transport students between bus stops and schools, on field trips, or as assigned.
Senior Driving Assignments: Drive busses for field trips, athletic events, and other out-of-town special excursions as assigned.
Upon offer of employment applicants must obtain a fingerprint clearance from the Oregon State Police Department and the FBI through a process authorized by the Eugene School District 4J. Applicants would be responsible for the one-time fingerprint clearance fee.
