Job summary

Smart & Final in Michigan seeks an experienced automotive/mechanical technician to perform full maintenance and repair work on a fleet of buses powered by gasoline and diesel engines. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with courses in general shop and automotive repair.
• Reasonable experience in repairing and rebuilding a variety of gasoline and/or diesel fuel powered vehicles or completion of an approved four-year apprenticeship in automotive repair or its equivalent.
• Physical strength and agility.
• Physically and mentally capable of performing all the duties of the classification.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of automotive and mechanical repair and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain shop equipment.
• Must be able to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's license (CDL) with proper endorsements.
