Job summary

The role requires reading blueprints, operating forklifts, cranes, and gas torches, and ensuring strict tolerances and water system schematics are followed; team-oriented but able to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or 2+ years in fabrication preferred.
• Soldering and brazing experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform silver soldering (brazing) on Type K tubing and up to Schedule 160 Pipe.
• Execute soft soldering using lead-based or lead-free solder.
• Conduct pressure and vacuum testing on bus components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and water schematics.
• Cut materials with saws and miter equipment.
• Operate forklifts and overhead/jib cranes safely.
• Manage torches and gases such as oxygen, propane and acetylene.
• Maintain precise tolerances per blueprint requirements.
• Ensure safe handling of equipment and adherence to safety policies.
