Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of soldering, brazing, and pipe/tubing fabrication experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and technical comprehension.
• Experience with industrial tools and lifting machinery.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Familiar with pressure and vacuum testing procedures.
• Understanding of water system schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform silver soldering (brazing) on Type K tubing and up to Schedule 160 Pipe.
• Execute soft soldering using leaded and lead-free solder.
• Conduct pressure and vacuum testing on bus components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and symbols.
• Cut materials using saws and miter equipment.
• Operate forklifts and overhead/jib cranes safely and efficiently.
• Utilize torches and gases such as oxygen, liquid oxygen, propane, and acetylene.
• Maintain tolerances and measurements per blueprint requirements.
• Interpret and work from water schematics.

Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bus Department Manufacturer to join our team. This role involves fabrication assembly, and testing of bus components, requiring strong technical knowledge and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform silver soldering(brazing)on Type K tubing and up to Schedule 160 Pipe.
• Execute soft soldering using both lead (50/50) and Lead-free (95/5) solder
• Conduct Pressure and vacuum testing on manufactured bus components
• Read and interpret blueprints, including understanding symbols and specifications
• Cut materials using saws and miter equipment as needed
• Operate forklifts and overhead /Jib cranes safely and efficiently
• Utilize and manager torches and gases such as oxygen, liquid oxygen, propane and acetylene
• Maintain precise tolerances and measurements according to blueprint requirements
• Interpret and work from water schematics

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years proven experience and soldering, brazing, and pipe/tubing fabrication
• Strong blueprints reading skills and technical comprehension
• Familiarity with industrial tools, cutting equipment, and lifting machinery
• Ability to work independently as well as a team environment
• Knowledge of pressure and vacuum testing procedures
• Understanding of water system schematic

Preferred
